Overview

The Manager – HR Technology, HCM Product Owner leads the technology strategy, delivery, and optimization of HCM Product solutions supporting the employee lifecycle. This role serves as the Product Owner for Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking, partnering with HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient HR technology solutions. The role leads a team of HR Technology professionals while establishing governance, roadmaps, and platform standards.

 

  • Lead and develop HR Technology team members supporting the HCM Product portfolio.
  • Serve as HCM Product Owner for Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
  • Develop and maintain the HCM Product roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead solution design, configuration oversight, testing, deployments, and post-production support.
  • Partner closely with HR Operations to define ownership and governance across HCM Product processes.
  • Lead enterprise HR technology projects and coordinate cross-functional delivery.
  • Oversee Workday releases, regression testing, feature adoption, and production readiness.
  • Partner with Platform Services on integrations, reporting, automation, technical architecture, and data governance.
  • Maintain platform integrity while ensuring compliance with audit, security, and governance standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, Compliance, and Internal Audit
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred
  • 7+ years supporting enterprise HR Technology platforms.
  • 3+ years leading HR Technology or HRIS teams.
  • Extensive Workday functional configuration experience across Workforce Administration.
  • Experience leading enterprise HR Technology implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience partnering with HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and IT
  • Product ownership mindset and strong business acumen.

About Hines

The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited was a major British industrial combine, a group of businesses manufacturing military and sporting firearms; bicycles; motorcycles; cars; buses and bodies; steel; iron castings; hand, power, and machine tools; coal cleaning and handling plants; sintered metals; and hard chrome process. After the Second World War, BSA did not manage its business well, and a government-organised rescue operation in 1973 led to a takeover of such operations as it still owned. Those few that survived this process disappeared into the ownership of other businesses. BSA began in June 1861 in the Gun Quarter, Birmingham, England. It was formed by a group of fourteen gunsmith members of the Birmingham Small Arms Trade Association specifically to manufacture guns by machinery. They were encouraged to do this by the War Office which gave the BSA gunsmiths free access to technical drawings and to the War Office's Board of Ordnance's Royal Small Arms Factory factory at Enfield. New machinery developed in the USA installed at Enfield had greatly increased its output without needing more skilled craftsmen. This new machinery brought to Birmingham the principle of the interchangeability of parts.
