Job Description

In this position...

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve within the FCSD Business Office, which supports governance for the Vice President of FCSD and the broader FCSD leadership team.
This is a high-profile opportunity to help shape the narrative of Ford's Customer Service Division (FCSD) as we accelerate growth across parts, service, accessories, and the customer ownership experience. In this role, you will be close to the work that matters most-supporting FCSD's strategic priorities, driving executive-level reporting, and helping tell the story of our progress with clarity, discipline, and impact.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

The role offers cross-functional visibility, access to senior-level decision-making, and the chance to influence how FCSD communicates priorities, measures performance, and drives accountability. We are looking for an experienced professional who can quickly build credibility, convey complex information simply, and help leadership turn strategy into clear actions and compelling executive narratives.

As a Business Office Manager (LL6 Ford leadership level), you will play a key role in the cadence, content, and communications that keep FCSD leadership aligned and on track. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is proactive, flexible, and positive when priorities shift; energized by turning data into clear, compelling executive stories; comfortable making presentations clean and actionable; and able to interpret FCSD data in a way that goes beyond calculating the numbers to explaining what they mean and why they matter. Responsibilities may include work in these areas:
  • Strategic Planning & KPI Reporting: Support the monthly and quarterly reporting cadence for FCSD Business Office objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with FCSD's strategic priorities. Manage the development and monitoring of strategic initiatives and their corresponding metrics across various FCSD business teams. Partner with FCSD Finance to accurately represent business performance.
  • Executive Communications & Presentations: Lead the preparation and coordination of compelling, visually appealing, and data-driven presentations for various FCSD leadership forums, including monthly Business Operations Review, monthly FCSD Governance Meetings, and ad-hoc executive reviews. Prepare external-facing presentation materials for key FCSD forums such as the Global Dealer Roundtable, National Dealer Meeting, supplier engagement events, and other high-visibility audiences, including scripting, voiceover comments, and clean, effective presentation design.
  • Internal Communications: Help manage the FCSD governance calendar, coordinating across FCSD teams and the VP's Executive Assistant. Oversee weekly OCM meeting materials and updates for VP and direct reports. Manage the FCSD Business Office SharePoint site, ensuring it remains organized, up-to-date, and user-friendly to support effective information sharing. Support internal controls for the Business Office and ISO Audit requirements.
  • Project Leadership & Operational Excellence: Lead and contribute to strategic projects and initiatives as needed. Oversee FCSD Business Office meetings, team events, and offsites including agenda, logistics, and communication. Help transform how the Business Office works by applying AI agents, Copilot, LLMs, and other Microsoft digital tools to streamline processes, improve productivity, and modernize.

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics & presentation, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressive experience with a proven track record of supporting senior leadership and influencing decision-making.
  • Relevant leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work, manage senior stakeholder expectations, and deliver results in a complex business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level audiences. Proven ability to craft compelling narratives, synthesize complex information, and tailor communications to different audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint for executive presentations and SharePoint for administration).
  • Strong ability to translate detailed information into clear, concise, and actionable insights and see the big picture.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in the same day or week.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Even better, you may have...
  • Master's degree (MBA preferred).
  • Prior experience in Finance, Chief of Staff, Business Office or FP&A related roles.
  • Prior experience or strong working knowledge of automotive aftermarket business operations (parts, service, accessories, dealer-facing processes, or related performance metrics)
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and concepts; Corporate presentations experience is a significant plus.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases
  • Tuition assistance
  • Established and active employee resource groups
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day
  • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
