As a Manager, Gas Operations, you will lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a combined-cycle power generation facility while developing a skilled and engaged operations team. You'll oversee daily plant operations, strengthen operational performance, and collaborate with plant leadership to support member service, regulatory compliance, and long-term facility goals. This role aligns with AECI's Manager leadership level, with accountability for team performance, annual objectives, and results within the operations function.
What You'll Do- Lead daily plant operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, environmental compliance, NERC requirements, and efficient power generation.
- Monitor plant equipment and operating data, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned operational activities and support outage planning and execution across plant teams.
- Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, annual operating plans, performance reporting, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or eight years of combined-cycle power plant experience.
- At least five years of experience supervising or leading personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of combustion turbine operations and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.
