Overview

This role can be worked remotely anywhere in the US!

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Review and deliver financial reports and KPIs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling.
  • Provide technical accounting assistance to clients and internal engagement teams.
  • Develop and coach staff and senior accountants.
  • Collaborate with advisory teams and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to transition clients to higher-value services in collaboration with advisory teams.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including system setup and process documentation.
  • Monitor team KPIs and implement process improvements.
  • Support the integration of new technology platforms and train team members on system enhancements.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public or private accounting
  • 3+ years of managing associates and/or teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations affecting financial reporting required.
  • Professional certification (e.g.,MBA, CPA) preferred.
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management: Experience with billing, coding, and collections processes in physician practices.
  • Cost Allocation for Multi-Specialty Practices: Experience in allocating costs and revenues across departments or specialties within a physician group.
  • Understanding of Physician Compensation Models: Knowledge of how physician productivity, incentives, and contractual arrangements impact financial statements.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically, Intaact, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suit and a demonstrated ability to embrace new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
