This leadership role blends technical expertise in stock plan administration, a client-centric approach to service, and the ability to grow and develop a team.
In this role, you'll apply your experience in stock plan administration to lead a variety of engagements from full outsourcing to project-specific support. You'll also work with our ecosystem of channel partners and subcontractors who deliver bespoke capabilities. You will manage client relationships and play a crucial role in the growth of this practice within the broader Equity Methods services portfolio. The Role in a Nutshell- Manage and train a team of one to three associates to support daily processing needs and research items for clients.
- Contribute directly to client engagements, ensuring a consistently high level of client satisfaction, responsiveness, and accurate work product.
- Interface with our ecosystem of channel partners and subcontractors providing related services.
- Support cross-functional engagements within EM that involve valuation, financial reporting, and HR advisory services.
- Examples of project types include:
- Processing stock plan transactions, supporting required regulatory filings, interacting with payroll teams and platforms, and fielding clients' questions related to the equity programs.
- Administratering ESPP plans, including managing enrollments, tracking terminations and withdrawals, and processing share purchases.
- Managing end-to-end processing of grants, award terminations, equity vesting, exercises, share pool tracking, etc.
- Drafting Forms 3, 4 and 5 to report Section 16 officer and director transactions in SEC filings.
- Responding to employee questions about stock awards and manage the shared stock plan administration mailbox.
- Supporting employees on the set up of 10b5-1 trading plans.
- Assisting with equity administration transitions, supporting clients on on the implementation of new equity administration systems and other ad hoc items as needed.
- Supporting RFP process around new system selection, involving managing the RFP process, identifying key objectives, interviewing vendors, assessing platforms, and presenting findings and making recommendations.
- Develop team members through coaching and mentoring, create accountability, and support recruiting efforts to continuously drive excellence in hiring.
- Liaise with senior leadership to develop world class scalable processes for the equity team and implement best practices with effective controls, including a focus on automation of routine work streams and manual processes.
- Support day-to-day client interactions in a way that demonstrates accountability, upholds quality standards, and delivers client delight. You will quickly become the face of Equity Methods to clients and they will count on your expertise and project management for high-stakes deliverables.
- In collaboration with your Director-level mentor within the firm, develop managerial dashboards to monitor engagement profitability, utilization, cross-firm collaboration, and other tools that prepare you for broader business management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements - Subject matter expertise in stock plan administration, both at the detailed processing level and in broader program management.
- Experience managing a team, including hiring, reviewing, and mentoring.
- Superb flexibility and service skills (which may include internal clients) that reflect superior technical expertise and a thirst for client delight.
- Knowledgeable about SOX compliance
- Strong detail- and accuracy-orientation in all internal and external activities.
- Comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced, client-focused environments.
- Ability and willingness to think critically and solve "out-of-the-box" problems independently and by appealing to theory, experience, analysis, and raw problem-solving acumen.
- 5 or more years of experience in the stock plan administration industry.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) required.
