RTX is looking for a talented Manager, Enterprise Services Communications.
The Enterprise Services Communications manager is a strategic change communications leader responsible for supporting transformational initiatives across the Enterprise Services organization, with primary responsibility for the Process & Systems Transformation (PST) program and the broader ES Business Solutions portfolio. This executive-facing role partners closely with program and portfolio Communications leads, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute communications strategies that build alignment, drive adoption, and support successful business transformation.
The Enterprise Services organization enables operational excellence and major enterprise initiatives across a diverse and complex portfolio. The change driven by the PST program and ES Business Solutions mission area spans technology, process, policy, and organizational transformation. Because of this scale and complexity, this role requires a communications leader experienced in enterprise-wide change who can translate transformation into clear, compelling, audience-specific messaging and operate confidently at both the executive and program levels.
What You Will Do:- Strategic program and project support
- Develop and lead communications strategies and plans for the PST program and transformation projects across the ES Business Solutions portfolio.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align communications with business objectives, transformation priorities, and organizational readiness.
- Provide detailed coordination and structured messaging for complex, multi-layered projects with significant business, technology, and process implications.
- Change communications leadership
- Serve as a trusted communications advisor to program leaders and senior stakeholders, providing strategic counsel, messaging, and executive communications support.
- Assess stakeholder needs, organizational impacts, and change readiness to develop targeted communications that build understanding, engagement, and adoption.
- Execute communications across multiple channels and audiences including leadership communications, employee messaging, presentations, all hands, newsletters, and other change enablement activities.
- Ensure brand, channel, and functional communications standards are followed while operating effectively in a matrixed Communications environment.
- Executive communications
- Partner closely with Communications leads and senior leaders to ensure messaging is aligned, sequenced appropriately, and reinforces transformation priorities.
- Surface and communicate risks, gaps, and dependencies to enable informed decision-making.
- Develop executive messaging and materials that support leadership alignment and change adoption.
- Enterprise integration
- Collaborate with change management partners, program leaders, project teams, Digital Technology, legal, HR, finance, and other functions and business units to integrate communications within broader change enablement and implementation plans.
- Ensure communications for PST and ES Business Solutions align with both RTX and Enterprise Services brand guidelines, enterprise priorities, and cross-functional communications strategy.
- Participate in the change communications community of practice to strengthen consistency, leverage shared standards, tools, and templates, and contribute to peer learning sessions that build strategic change communications capability across the function.
- Continuously measure communications effectiveness, gather feedback, and optimize strategies and tactics to strengthen engagement and support successful transformation.

Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated success leading communications for technology, process, and systems-driven change programs.
- Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills with exceptional attention to detail and brand compliance.
- Proven experience developing and executing structured communication strategies for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
- Ability to analyze change impacts to determine what each audience needs to know, feel, and do to adopt change successfully.
- Strong partnership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple high-visibility initiatives, meet tight deadlines, and drive continuous improvement through feedback and analytics.
Qualifications We Prefer:- University degree and 5-7 years of progressive experience in change communications, preferably supporting enterprise-wide transformation in complex, matrixed environments.
- Master's degree in communications or related field
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Poppulo, and other communication platforms, with an ability to adapt to emerging digital tools
- Prosci Change Management Certification (or equivalent change practitioner certification)
- Demonstrated interest in contributing to shared communications standards and a change communications community of practice, including peer learning and continuous improvement of tools and resources

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
