Position Summary:

The Category Manager is responsible for building, updating, and continuous maintenance of all Walmart US planograms. This role will report to the Senior Category Manager who will work in partnership to curate the most inclusive & productive assortment for the retailer. This role requires

Responsibilities:

  • Defining and executing the demand planning strategy for domestic and international retail channels
  • Manage and communicate existing or potential business risk to service and working capital
  • Accountable for the maintaining metrics behind supply chain planning analytics (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, pareto of item/customer demand, etc.)
  • Create and implement statistically driven forecasting methods
  • Process lead for establishing best practices with counter parts in sales, sales planning, and new product development


Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years' experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics.
  • Operations experience in a food, CPG, or cosmetics manufacturing company of relevant size and complexity; >$50 million revenue, high-SKU, national distribution, big box retail customer base, and rapidly changing product line / SKU mix.
  • Cross-functional S&OP modeling and process leadership experience; inclusive of demand planning, supply planning, and product lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and leading cross-functional business processes from a starting point of limited maturity and sophistication; experience managing cross-functional teams. Nimble and entrepreneurial in nature.
  • Experience building driver-based forecasts for a large SKU mix with complex product lifecycles, including incrementality, cannibalization, and volume recapture.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or another analytical field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of planning process within CPG, fashion, or seasonal products.
  • High drive for results and willing to work in a demanding & rapid paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion.
  • System implementation experience a plus.
  • Excellent Excel Skills and knowledge
  • Access and SQL experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word and PowerPoint)


$80,000 - $110,000 a year

The base salary range for this role is listed above.

Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.'s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
