Manager, Cybersecurity Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with leadership responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools in a Microsoft-centric environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and their operational application.
• Proven ability to lead incident response and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations including monitoring, triage, and incident response for various platforms.
• Coordinate Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and SOC partners to ensure effective investigations.
• Manage and coach the security operations team and collaborate with other departments to embed security.
• Establish checks and balances between IT and cybersecurity for independent governance.
• Develop and improve runbooks and SOPs for security events and operational tasks.
• Oversee root cause analysis and conduct threat hunting activities across diverse workloads.
• Drive incident lifecycle management by tracking metrics, trends, and remediation progress.
