We are currently seeking a Manager, Contracts to join our Advanced Technology (AT) / Alternate Missions and Space (AM&S) Contracts organization, which focuses on key pursuits as well as development efforts that serve as the growth engine and front end of the business, critical to the future growth of Raytheon. This unique and challenging role will include supporting program execution, key pursuits, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, developing Intellectual Property strategies and novel contracting approaches. Please note that this role is designated as onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts.
  • Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).
  • Review Estimates at Completion (EAC).
  • Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Support program management and execution reviews.
  • Develop Intellectual Property and investment strategy.
  • Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies.
  • Minimal domestic travel required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
  • Experience related to contracts management, program management, project management, supply chain, procurement or similar
  • Experience with US Government Contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)
  • Active, in-scope and transferable U.S. government issued Top-Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience managing development contracts in a fast pace competitive environment
  • Ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
  • Familiarity with contract types; Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements
  • Experience mentoring others to communicate business strategies that identify appropriate opportunities for balanced business deals when preparing collaborative agreements.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to persuade various stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
