Weber Shandwick is looking for a Manager, Client Experience to join our West Technology practice to support clients ranging from the most influential tech brands in the world to fast-growing disruptors.
We are seeking a Manager, who is passionate about the way technology is reshaping how we work and live, and who obsessively follows how the industry is rapidly evolving. The ideal candidate understands that today's storytelling requires a sophisticated, integrated approach that extends beyond traditional media relations to encompass social media, influencer engagement, and owned content. You will have a foundational experience in AI, computing, and/or enterprise technology, with a proven ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives at the intersection of business, technology, and culture. The ideal candidate has previous project and team management experience, brings existing media relationships, and is a curious, creative, and collaborative individual.
What You Will Be Doing:
Serve as a key team member on multiple lines of business, managing projects and contributing to integrated communication strategies.
Provide daily client counsel and clear, strategic recommendations under the guidance of senior leaders.
Draft a wide range of media materials, including press releases, pitch notes, messaging documents, proposals, and bylined articles.
Execute integrated communications strategies for major technology campaigns, translating insights into compelling programs.
Bring to life compelling story ideas for clients, media, and influencers, specifically targeting business, technology, and enterprise press.
Source earned media results on behalf of the client by identifying appropriate contacts, writing persuasive pitches, and building media relationships.
Stay current on the dynamic media landscape and how and why tech stories travel.
Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, inclusivity, and high performance.
Serve as a key participant in client meetings and presentations, building trust and rapport.
Trend-spot across the technology category (especially AI, computing, and enterprise solutions) to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:
Years Experience: 4-6 years of experience in the technology sector; agency experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
Track Record: Proven success leading projects from start to finish and working with integrated teams.
