Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid position reporting two days a week to our Hudson Yards, NYC office.The Manager, Channel Intelligence & Insights is responsible for building and advancing the agency's Channel Intelligence capability. This role transforms field observations, customer feedback, retailer intelligence, syndicated and commercial data, market dynamics, and competitive activity into actionable insights and recommendations that influence strategy, execution, and commercial outcomes.
This role works closely with field teams, program leadership, clients, and analysis partners to uncover meaningful insights from customer interactions, retailer feedback, marketplace trends, competitive activity, commercial and syndicated data sources, and field execution to communicate insights as recommendations.
This role will help answer questions like- What are customers telling us?
- What trends are emerging in the marketplace?
- What opportunities are we seeing before others do?
- How can we turn observations into smarter business decisions?
This role also helps build the systems, frameworks, and best practices for gathering, synthesizing, and delivering insights. The right candidate enjoys connecting dots, identifying patterns, asking and exploring great questions, and
translating information into actionable recommendations. This role offers an opportunity to help define an emerging discipline within the organization.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Channel Intelligence Strategy & Capability Development- Develop and evolve Channel Intelligence frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Establish repeatable processes for intelligence collection, analysis, and communication
- Define key business questions and intelligence priorities
- Create tools, templates, and standards that improve consistency and quality
- Support the long-term growth of the agency's Channel Intelligence capability
Insights, Analysis & Strategic Recommendations- Partner with Field Management to capture meaningful marketplace observations
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information from multiple sources
- Identify patterns, trends, and business implications
Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and category developments - Develop actionable recommendations that support commercial growth and program optimization
- Elevate field learnings into actionable business insights
- Support planning, innovation, and decision-making initiatives
Storytelling & Communication- Develop intelligence reports, executive summaries, and presentations
- Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Translate complex information into clear, actionable narratives
- Influence decision-making through effective storytelling and business cases
Leadership & Culture Contribution- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Foster collaboration and strong cross-functional relationships
- Contribute to agency culture, knowledge sharing, and capability development

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in insights, strategy, shopper marketing, category management, field marketing, consulting, commercial analytics, market research, or related disciplines
- Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information into actionable recommendations
- Strong analytical, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Understanding of customer behavior, retail environments, and commercial strategy
- Experience working cross-functionally in a complex organization
- Occasional travel as required
- Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards
Additional InformationThe base compensation range for this job classification is between $85,000.00-$100,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
