Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Manager Business Management 2 within the Mission Data Management (MDM) operating unit (OU). This location for this position is Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the business area manager and other functional staff to oversee all financials aspects of the business
  • Oversee a team of program control analysts supporting the various programs and efforts within the business area
  • Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, program budgeting, estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activities
  • Develop business strategy and forecasting, through internal or external deliverables such as the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and be responsible for preparation and presentation of financial data, including variance analysis and forecasts to senior management
  • Support pricing and proposal activities, developing proposals from draft RFP to award, including review of RFP, FAR clauses, coordination with subcontractor flow-downs, basis of estimates, indirect rates, pricing strategies, cash management, negotiation strategy and oversight, and presenting to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all NGC policies (including Earned Value Management), internal controls and disclosed practices and provide internal and External support of compliance audits
  • Support miscellaneous program efforts as applicable
  • Implement and manage program Estimates at Completion (EAC) in accordance with company requirements


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 7 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control - OR - a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software (Cobra)
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Must be able to work onsite in Orlando, Florida
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizations skills
  • Strong financial forecast acumen (Income Statement and Balance Sheets)
  • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Defense Industry Experience
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • Prior people leadership experience
  • Experience with NGFP and NGRB
  • Experience with development of LRSP and AOP, preparation of EACs, and financial reporting
  • Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations.
  • Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)


Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
