Job DescriptionTitle: Manager, Business Development
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Compensation: Generous base salary + unlimited earnings potential
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401(k), cell phone reimbursement, substantial PTO
Who You Are We seek a motivated finance or accounting professional who is excited to transition into Business Development. You do not need a script to talk to a CFO because you have lived in the work they are managing. You are disciplined about follow-through, comfortable owning a revenue target, and motivated by building something rather than maintaining it. You bring a consultative instinct to every client conversation and measure success by the quality of the relationships you develop, not just the deals you close.
Key Responsibilities As a Business Development professional within our TW Consulting division, you'll be responsible for:
- Expanding existing client relationships by understanding their evolving needs and offering tailored consulting solutions.
- Generating new business through strategic outreach, networking, and leveraging industry & technical knowledge.
- Collaborating with internal cross-divisional teams to leverage relationships and ultimately ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
- Advising clients on market trends, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
- Leading client discovery meetings to assess needs and align consulting resources effectively.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive long-term client engagement and revenue growth.
- Representing Taylor White at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and build new relationships.
- Partnering with leadership to identify new service offerings and market opportunities based on client feedback and industry trends.
What We're Looking For - 6+ years of combined experience in accounting/finance - ideally within a public accounting, advisory/consulting firm, or similar environment - with demonstrated success in, and passion for, building client and networking relationships.
- Specific exposure to sales, client service or traditional business development efforts would be a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative mindset with a drive to create value for clients.
- Proven ability to identify client needs and translate them into actionable consulting solutions.
- Exceptional follow-through, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort engaging with senior-level stakeholders, including CFOs, Controllers, VP's of Finance, and other decision-makers.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative, capable of working independently while contributing to team goals.
