You'll own the process from initial engagement through launch, helping onboard new partners quickly and get their listings live with minimal friction.

Reporting directly to the VP, Head of Supply, you'll partner cross-functionally with Engineering and other internal teams to move opportunities from conversation to integration as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Partnership Development: Source, develop, and close new broker and brokerage-network partnerships through outbound prospecting, referrals, conferences, and existing industry relationships. Manage the full sales process from initial conversation to signed agreement, looping in executive support when it helps move a deal forward.
  • Industry Relationship Building: Represent BizScout at broker conferences and industry events, and grow an established network of relationships across the business brokerage industry.
  • Onboarding Speed: Move signed partners into onboarding quickly so they can start listing on the marketplace without delay.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to evaluate technical integration feasibility and set realistic expectations with prospective partners.
  • Reporting & Results: Maintain clear visibility into pipeline, forecasts, and partnership performance, and consistently hit acquisition and closing targets.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven closer: 3-5+ years of business development or sales experience in business brokerage or marketplace partnerships, with a track record of closing relationship-based partnerships from a standing start.
  • Ecosystem credibility: experience working for established broker marketplaces, associations, or brokerage firms, with strong connections within the broker community.
  • Business development acumen: skilled at running a compelling, value-driven sales conversation that builds genuine urgency around a partnership opportunity.
  • Operational rigor: organized enough to run a multi-contact pipeline independently, with clear and consistent reporting habits.
  • Professional presence: comfortable representing BizScout to brokerage owners and industry leadership as a credible, trusted partner.
  • Adaptability & communication: high-agency, low-ego, "figure it out" startup operator with strong relationship-building skills and clear communication.
