Wage Transparency: The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
About the RoleThe Agriculture & Equine Specialty team is seeking a Manager, Agriculture and Equine Specialty to support a high-performing client care team through day-to-day leadership, coaching, workflow coordination, service quality, and continuous improvement. This role will help create a positive, People First environment by building strong relationships, supporting team members, and promoting consistent, high-quality service. The successful candidate will provide operational guidance, support escalations, assist with team development, and contribute to process improvements as the Agriculture & Equine Specialty team continues to evolve. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong insurance knowledge, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in leadership, coaching, and client service excellence.
What You'll Do- Support day-to-day team operations, workflow coordination, and service delivery.
- Provide guidance to team members on processes, systems, client service standards, and technical questions.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members to encourage skill development, confidence, and career growth.
- Help organize and facilitate team meetings, huddles, and communication of key updates.
- Support escalations and complex service situations, escalating decisions appropriately when needed.
- Help monitor workflow quality, service consistency, and team priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and the client experience.
- Support implementation of new workflows, strategies, and team initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, solution-focused, and growth-oriented team environment.
- Recognize team successes and contribute to a culture where achievements are celebrated.
What You Bring - Insurance Licensing is required
- Typically 5 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
- Agriculture, equine, farm, or rural insurance experience is considered a strong asset.
- Client Manager experience is considered an asset.
- Previous leadership, mentoring, training, or workflow coordination experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to escalate decisions appropriately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Collaborative, ethical, resilient, and practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to support change and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Positive attitude toward client service, team success, and business results.
- Solid working knowledge of computer operating systems and industry software, including EPIC and ARS.
