Full Job Description
What you'll do day-to-day

  • Manage recurring monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reporting for the team and firm leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements and related filings.
  • Contribute to the design and adoption of generative AI and automation tools to make close, reporting, and regulatory workflows more efficient and reliable.
  • Partner with colleagues across FinOp and Legal & Compliance to research questions, address reporting needs, and improve processes.


What we're looking for

  • At least two years of accounting experience, ideally within alternative asset management, financial services, or public accounting, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA is required.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting concepts and the recurring close and reporting cycle.
  • A forward-looking mindset toward generative AI and automation, with genuine interest in applying new tools to everyday work.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
