ARRT Mammography certification and current ARRT registration required
Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency license required

Operate radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs for breast cancer detection
Position patients and adjust x-ray equipment settings for each examination
Evaluate the quality of radiographic films
Conduct tests on radiologic equipment and maintain quality assurance records
Perform related office duties as necessary

Full Job Description
Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
Position: Mammography Technologist II
Location: 1410 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL
Full Time, 40 hours weekly
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm or 8am to 4:30pm.
Travel: Potential travel to Kildeer and Buffalo Grove locations
What you will do:
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast cancer. In doing so, positions patients, adjusts x-ray equipment to correct setting for each examination, and evaluates films quality. Tests radiologic equipment and maintains quality assurance records. Performs related office duties as necessary. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
