Full Job Description
Overlake Breast Health Center has an opportunity for a Mammography Technologist with exceptional patient care skills, who will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms as well as assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures. Procedures include pre-surgery guidewire localization, ductograms, stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound guided procedures. This full time position will have variable day shift hours with occasional Saturday shifts. 1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly pay period) 8 Hour Shift DAYS - Variable Qualifications for Mammography Technologist • AA from an accredited radiology program is required, else equivalent related experience. • ARRT (R) certification required • ARRT (M) Mammography Certification preferred on date of hire. New graduates will be allowed up to 4 months to obtain ARRT (M) certification. • Registered with WA State required • Healthcare provider CPR required • One year previous screening mammography experience preferred Qualifications for Mammography Technologist II • AA from an accredited radiology program is required. • ARRT (R) certification required • ARRT (M) Mammography Certification is required. • Registered with WA State required • Healthcare provider CPR required • Two years previous diagnostic/procedural mammography experience mandatory. • Ultrasound experience preferred.
