How You'll Make an Impact

As a Maintenance Support Leader, you'll play a critical role in driving the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of maintenance activities across the site while maximizing equipment reliability and operational availability. You will serve as the owner of the work execution process and provide leadership to maintenance support personnel, storeroom operations, contractor resources, and maintenance work processes. In this role, you will:
  • Provide visible leadership and engagement in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSES) programs and initiatives.
  • Lead the site's maintenance work execution process to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Lubrizol standards.
  • Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance, engagement, and continuous improvement through the Lubrizol performance management process.
  • Direct and support the Work Process Leader, Craft Resource Leader, and their respective teams to achieve site maintenance objectives.
  • Oversee the safe and effective operation of Central Stores, including receiving, inventory management, cycle counting, kitting, and material distribution activities.
  • Provide leadership to Material Coordinators and Storeroom personnel to ensure spare parts availability and effective inventory management practices.
  • Direct the Building and Grounds Coordinator in identifying, planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities for site facilities and infrastructure.
  • Manage contractor support resources required for maintenance execution and facility upkeep activities.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Project Manager to support the planning and execution of capital and expense maintenance projects.
  • Support Maintenance Technologists and DCS Technicians in providing frontline maintenance troubleshooting and operational support.
  • Establish and monitor maintenance performance measures, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive work execution effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee contractor performance to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Review contractor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency, work quality, and overall value.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Reliability, and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment of maintenance priorities and resource utilization.
  • Support reliability improvement initiatives and corrective action implementation resulting from equipment failure analyses and investigations.
  • Optimize contractor utilization, headcount requirements, and maintenance spending to ensure alignment with site budgets and business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance work processes, systems, and execution practices.
  • Ensure alignment between Maintenance Support, Reliability Work Processes, and Asset Operations to support safe and reliable facility operation.


Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • 8+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership, supervisory, or team leadership experience.

  • Adherence to rigorous safety protocols, environmental requirements, and maintenance work processes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability, operational availability, maintenance effectiveness, and cost management.
