Join us as a
Maintenance Supervisor at our Grand Rapids, Michigan, manufacturing plant. In this on-site role, you will lead maintenance technicians and collaborate with skilled tradespeople and plant leaders to deliver maintenance programs that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will help resolve mechanical and electrical issues while advancing continuous improvement initiatives. This third-shift position works from
10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., including alternating weekends, in a continuous-crewing operation.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing- Improve Equipment Reliability: Establish and execute maintenance work plans that improve equipment reliability while reducing waste and unnecessary costs through LEAN principles.
- Lead and Develop the Team: Direct, train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians to strengthen capabilities and achieve performance goals.
- Solve Technical Challenges: Coordinate the resolution of mechanical and electrical issues to minimize disruptions and support plant operations.
- Advance Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and document maintenance and reliability best practices that improve operational efficiency.
- Promote Safety and Compliance: Support compliance with applicable electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and plant safety standards while coordinating with employees, vendors, and contractors.
We're Looking for Someone With- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance or industrial maintenance
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing maintenance employees
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office
CompensationThe annual salary range is $77,200 - $101,325, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
