As our next
Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key leader within the operations management team, responsible for directing day-to-day maintenance activities while developing and leading a highly skilled technical team. You will oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and facilities, while supporting new equipment installations and ensuring world-class safety, efficiency, and reliability standards.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading and supervising the maintenance team to support production equipment and facility operations
- Ensuring compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems
- Providing technical leadership for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and CNC-based systems
- Supporting the assembly, debugging, installation, and start-up of new or modified production equipment
- Ensuring effective preventive and predictive maintenance systems are in place
- Managing departmental purchasing, spare parts, and inventory control
- Maintaining an organized, safe, and well-equipped maintenance department
- Collaborating with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Project teams
- Supporting year-over-year improvements in operational efficiency, downtime reduction, and manufacturing costs
- Leading continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable cost savings
- Ensuring consistent production support to maintain uninterrupted operations
- Performing additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For- Red Seal Certification as an Electrician or Millwright
- Certificate of Qualification in Electrical or Millwright trade (or equivalent industrial experience)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Mechanical assembly and machine repair
- Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- PLC, CNC, and automated control systems
- Experience supporting CNC machining and automated assembly operations
- Knowledge of automotive quality systems and manufacturing standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends based on plant requirements
