Maintenance Planning Manager (YQT or YXL)

Job Summary

Wasaya Airways is seeking a Maintenance Planning Manager to coordinate scheduled aircraft maintenance across its fleets and operating bases. The role is responsible for maintenance forecasting, work-package preparation, aircraft downtime planning, and coordinating labour, parts, tooling, facilities, vendors, and technical requirements.

Job Duties and Qualifications
  • Aviation or maintenance-planning experience,
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills,
  • The ability to manage multiple aircraft, deadlines, and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license, project-management training, aviation management experience, and knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations would be considered assets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and related systems;
  • The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Wear required personal protective equipment;

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs.
  • Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
