We're looking for a
Maintenance Plannerto join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in
High Prairie, Alberta. Our mill has undergone an
exciting major rebuildand modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press making us one of the most
modern mills in North America.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Astrong technical background, gained through relevant post-secondary education.
- Experience buildingcomprehensive job plansand work packages.
- Coordination experience for maintenance outages(both minor and major).
- Experiencebuilding work schedules to optimize maintenance opportunitiesin a 24/7 operation.
- MMP (Maintenance Management Professional) Certification or Maintenance Planning Certificate considered an asset.
- Understandingstores/spare parts management processesand know how to utilize the resources available to you and plan for the future.
- In-depth understanding ofpreventative and predictivemaintenancepractices, along with advanced skills inComputerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS).
- Experiencecreating, revising, and maintaining Bills of Material.
- Ability towork with a team of planners and effectively collaborate across functional teams.
In this role you will:
- Build routine and extended outage maintenance plans to keep the mill running reliably.
- Efficiently manage both major and minor maintenance outages.
- Ensure staffing, tools, equipment and materials are in place to support our team of trades personnel, allowing them to safely and quickly complete planned maintenance.
- Partner with departmentsacross the mill to deliverexcellent customer service.
