Job Title: Maintenance Manager, STS and FSN

Reports To: Maintenance Manager, Canada

Location: Grande Prairie, AB

The Maintenance Manager, Source Trucking Services (STS) and Field Solutions (FSN) is responsible for directing, leading and executing on all maintenance related to Source's wellsite servicing solution, including our fleet of proprietary Sahara units in Canada and the US. In this role, you will oversee maintenance for STS, FSN Canada, Lower 48/United States & Alaska, as well as any new equipment implementation. This role will directly be responsible for budget and financial performance goals for the maintenance division and serves a key function in the growth of our organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee, build and execute on maintenance plans related to trucking, FSN Canada, and FSN Lower 48/United States & Alaska divisions;
  • Provide leadership and direction by engaging and empowering a dedicated and diverse team;
  • Lead, guide and align personnel from both STS and FSN;
  • Management and oversight of Parts personnel and parts inventory;
  • Instill a strong customer service attitude at all levels of maintenance;
  • Ensure the team is aligned in achieving the operational, business development, and financial performance goals.
  • Develop a best in practice trucking maintenance roadmap addressing immediate needs but also longer-term priorities for both Source owned and Owner Operator units;
  • Asset management including our fleet of Sahara units;
  • Maintenance management as it relates to Source's fleet of pickup trucks;
  • Identify, develop and implement best practices and procedures;
  • Create an organization with best-in-class operational practices and driving accountability throughout the business units;
  • Manage the budget for repair and maintenance along with regular planning activities;
  • Implement electronic maintenance monitoring program throughout FSN business unit;
  • Partner with HSE to provide industry compliance, training and safe work environment;
  • Other duties as required.


Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for individuals with a hardworking attitude, who have working knowledge of tools and mechanics. Individuals must be self-motivated and adaptable to change. Other things that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in oilfield services environment;
  • Minimum 8 years of proven management experience, leading and mentoring a large team directly and indirectly;
  • Strong business development and technical acumen, with keen ability to work with all levels of field and corporate staff; and
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering technology, or commerce/business administration an asset but not a requirement.

  • Ability to learn, adapt to change and be flexible in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment; and
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous work experience in oil and gas, logistics and / or related services.
