Target Pay: The target starting base salary for this position is $87,663,000.00 - $131,813.00 / year (plus quarterly bonus incentive). What You'll Be DoingLeadership & Strategy
- Develops and executes the maintenance and fabrication department strategy, including performance metrics, workforce planning, and long-term capability development
- Establishes and tracks maintenance KPIs (downtime, PM effectiveness, mean time to repair, cost, safety, reliability, OEE support, etc.)
- Provides expert technical and leadership direction to supervisors, maintenance leads, and technicians across all maintenance functions
- Oversees and leads maintenance and fabrication team projects, including equipment innovation, capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
- Ensures all maintenance operations align with corporate goals, Lean initiatives, and business objectives
Technical & Operational Oversight
- Leads all areas of maintenance including:
o Injection molding equipment and auxiliaries
o Fabrication and tooling support
o Work cells and automated systems
o Molding technology and process support
o Product assembly and secondary operations
- Serves as the technical authority for diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues
- Maintains awareness of state-of-the-art maintenance principles, reliability practices, and emerging technologies
- Leads continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to reduce downtime, improve OEE, and extend equipment life
People & Department Management
- Leads, develops, and coaches maintenance supervisors, leads, technicians, and apprentices
- Builds a high-performing, cross-trained, and safety-focused maintenance organization
- Establishes skill development plans, training priorities, and succession planning
- Works closely with the Training & Development Department, and Human Resources to establish, launch, and maintain an effective Maintenance Apprenticeship program
- Encourages accountability, engagement, and ownership throughout the department
Systems, Standards & Compliance
- Develops, maintains, and enforces preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Assures consistent maintenance systems, standards, and best practices between plants
- Coordinates with Plant Management and Scheduling to:
- Set priorities
- Control budgets
- Allocate labor
- Manage major projects
- Ensures all regulatory, safety, and facility compliance requirements are met (OSHA, building codes, environmental, etc.)

Requirements- Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field, or technical certification with 10+ years of progressive maintenance experience including leadership responsibility; or High School Diploma/GED and 15+ years of progressive maintenance experience including leadership responsibility
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance technicians, supervisors, or multi-functional maintenance teams
- Experience supporting plastic injection molding equipment and industrial manufacturing systems
- Experience leading multi-shift maintenance operations
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automated manufacturing systems
- Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Strong project management, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams
- Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory requirements
Preferred- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- Experience leading maintenance organizations in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment
- Experience leading automation, robotics, work-cell, fabrication, or tooling support teams
- Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Six Sigma, or Maintenance Excellence training/certification
- Experience developing maintenance strategy, departmental KPIs, budgets, and long-range capital plans
