Position SummaryThe Building People, LLC seeks a Research Equipment Maintenance Lead to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of specialized research equipment, including lasers, environmental chambers, vacuum chambers, microscopes, and network servers, supporting the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).
Key Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance activities on specialized research and laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate with Scientists and Engineers (S&E) to keep their focus on Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) by managing facility and equipment issues on their behalf.
- Maintain equipment records, technical orders, and inspection documentation.
Notice $95-105k/yr Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications- At least 10 years of experience in DoD Facility Maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience as a DoD Facility Management supervisor.
Certifications & Screening- Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience maintaining laser systems, vacuum chambers, or precision laboratory equipment.
