Sommaire du poste

À titre de gestionnaire, Excellence de la maintenance, vous piloterez la mise en œuvre et l'amélioration continue du programme d'excellence en maintenance d'IPEX dans plusieurs sites de fabrication. En étroite collaboration avec les équipes de direction des usines et les équipes de maintenance, vous ferez la promotion des meilleures pratiques en maintenance, notamment les systèmes de gestion de maintenance assistée par ordinateur (GMAO), la maintenance prédictive (PdM), l'excellence en fiabilité ainsi que le développement des compétences techniques.

Grâce à votre capacité à coacher, influencer, collaborer et accompagner le changement, vous contribuerez à mettre en place des systèmes de maintenance durables qui améliorent la sécurité, augmentent la fiabilité des équipements et soutiennent l'excellence opérationnelle à l'échelle de l'organisation.

Responsabilités principales
  • Promouvoir une culture axée sur les personnes, avec un engagement indéfectible envers la sécurité, tout en favorisant l'adoption de processus standardisés au sein des équipes de maintenance.
  • Faire progresser les meilleures pratiques en maintenance dans plusieurs sites par l'entremise d'évaluations, d'analyses des écarts et de démarches de gestion du changement.
  • Réaliser des projets d'amélioration découlant d'initiatives de l'entreprise ainsi que des besoins propres aux usines.
  • Rechercher des méthodes et des technologies de pointe afin de soutenir l'amélioration continue des personnes, des pratiques, des normes et des contrôles.
  • Soutenir la sélection de partenaires externes offrant du soutien technique, des services-conseils, des technologies ou de la formation.
  • Collaborer directement avec les principaux intervenants des usines, incluant les équipes de direction, les gestionnaires et le personnel de première ligne.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans d'action visant à appuyer les initiatives d'amélioration.
  • Assurer le suivi et la communication de l'état d'avancement des projets ainsi que des résultats mesurables obtenus.
  • Effectuer des évaluations régulières des sites afin de s'assurer que les initiatives d'amélioration sont maintenues par les équipes de maintenance.
  • Préparer les demandes d'autorisation de dépenses en immobilisations (AFE) afin d'obtenir l'approbation et le financement nécessaires aux initiatives.
  • Diriger ou soutenir les analyses des risques liés aux tâches (JHA) et les analyses des besoins techniques (TNA) afin d'identifier les écarts et les occasions d'amélioration.
  • Former les principaux partenaires aux méthodes et aux outils associés aux initiatives d'amélioration continue.


Qualifications et expérience
  • Certification technique telle qu'un certificat de métier, une certification PMP ou MMP.
  • Plus de 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle lié à la maintenance (planification et ordonnancement, leadership, ingénierie), idéalement dans un environnement manufacturier.
  • Expérience démontrée des meilleures pratiques en maintenance (RCM, PdM, GMAO, etc.).
  • Expérience en formation et en transmission des connaissances.
  • Expérience éprouvée en gestion du changement organisationnel, avec la capacité de communiquer efficacement à tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
  • Esprit d'initiative et excellentes aptitudes à bâtir des relations et à exercer une influence.
  • Capacité à voyager jusqu'à 40 % du temps. La personne retenue doit satisfaire aux exigences personnelles permettant les déplacements aux États-Unis à des fins professionnelles. Un passeport valide et/ou toute autre documentation requise pour voyager aux États-Unis est une condition d'emploi.

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Excellence Manager! This role is based out of our facility in Edmonton, Alberta and reports to the Senior Manager, Maintenance Excellence.

Job Summary

As the Maintenance Excellence Manager, you will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of IPEX's Maintenance Excellence program across multiple manufacturing sites. Working closely with plant leaders and maintenance teams, you will champion maintenance best practices, including CMMS, Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Reliability Excellence, and technical capability development.

Through coaching, collaboration, and change leadership, you will help build sustainable maintenance systems that improve safety, increase equipment reliability, and support operational excellence across the organization.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Promoting a people first culture with an unwavering dedication to safety and driving standard processes amongst our Maintenance Teams.
  • Championing maintenance best practices at multiple locations through assessments, gap analysis and organizational change.
  • Completing improvement projects driven by both enterprise initiatives as well as specific plant needs.
  • Researching next level methods and/or technologies to promote continuous improvement for our people, tactics, standards and controls.
  • Providing support in sourcing external partners for technical support, consulting, technology and training.
  • Directly interacting at the plant level with key collaborators from leadership, management and front-line.
  • Creation and execution of action plans to support improvement initiatives.
  • Tracking and reporting on project status and quantified improvement measurements
  • Conduct regular site assessments to ensure improvement initiatives are being sustained by the plant maintenance teams.
  • Creation of AFE's to acquire support and funding for initiatives.
  • Lead or support Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) and Technical Need Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Train key partners in methods and tools associated to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Self-starter with strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time. The successful candidate must meet the personal conditions necessary for travel to the United States for work purposes. A valid passport and/or other pertinent documentation to allow for US travel is required as a condition of employment.
