Job DescriptionTELL ME MORE:TheMaintenance Engineer Manager leads a maintenance team responsible formaintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment andfacilities.The Maintenance EngineerManager is a hands-on leader, working with their team to ensure safe,efficient, and continuous operations for the plant. The Maintenance EngineerManager is an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team and reports to theAssistant Plant Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Conduct and lead teams in the preventative, predictive, andcorrective maintenance activities for all equipment and the plant facilities.
- Lead and engage in the diagnosis of equipment failures,performing or leading teams in the performance of timely repairs to minimizedowntime.
- Maintain mechanical,electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems side-by-side with the MaintenanceTeam.
- Develop and followpreventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure compliance withhealth, safety, and environmental standards plant-wide.
- Maintain accuratemaintenance records using the Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).
- Support equipmentinstallation, commissioning, and upgrades.
- Coordinate maintenanceneeds and activities with production teams.
- Maintain and managerelationships with external contractors and maintenance vendors.
- Identify opportunitiesfor equipment improvement and cost reductions.
- Manage spare partsinventory.
- Available as needed foron-call duties and emergency breakdown support.
- Any other duties as assigned.
RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical degreefrom a regionally accredited college or university required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical work experience in a roleresponsible for maintaining equipment and facilities within industrial and/ormanufacturing environments required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of practical work experience leadingteams and managing the schedule, work, and performance of others required.
- Prior experience ensuring and implementing EPA and OSHAcompliance and safety protocols across equipment and facilities required.
- Excellent technical knowledge - fluent with reading,understanding, interpreting, and following electrical schematics andmechanical diagrams required.
- Tech-savvy - prior experience with one or more ComputerizedMaintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), orrelated software required.
- Business acumen - ability to understand the financial impact ofactions and decisions on budget, read and interpret financial data to drivegood business decisions, and managing team performance in order to achieve strongfinancial outcomes required.
- Excellent teamwork - proven ability to collaboratecross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to successfullycomplete maintenance projects.
- Solutions oriented - prior experience applying problem-solvingprinciples including but not limited to root cause analysis, 5Whtys, andIshikawa diagrams required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills - demonstrated abilityto balance multiple competing and often time-sensitive priorities required.
- Strong communication - able to succinctly transmit and understandcomplex information both verbally and in writing required.
- Minimum of intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.

oOSHA 30 Hour&/or OSHA 10 Hour - General Safety Certification
- Six (6) or more years of practical work experience in anequipment and facilities maintenance role within industrial and/ormanufacturing environments preferred.
- Prior experience within the aluminum or metals industry highlypreferred.
- Strong understanding of and prior experience applying continuousimprovement methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or LEANManufacturing preferred.
