The
Machine Shop Supervisor oversees day-to-day machining operations and ensure production meets the Company's high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is critical in driving manufacturing performance, maintaining production standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor. This position is responsible for developing manufacturing plans, establishing procedures, and ensuring compliance with customer and Company quality requirements. This individual will partner closely with plant leadership to optimize productivity, reduce scrap and rework, and ensure operational readiness to meet production demands.

Primary Responsibilities:- Oversee daily machine shop operations to ensure production schedules are met safely and efficiently
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans and production procedures aligned with quality standards
- Monitor production performance, including scrap and rework, and implement improvements to drive efficiency and cost reduction
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve production standards and workflows
- Adjust production schedules based on operational needs, priorities, and delivery timelines
- Supervise, coach, and develop shop floor associates to ensure high performance and accountability
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support equipment maintenance, repairs, and operational changes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to meet customer requirements
- Support training, performance management, and workforce development to maintain a skilled and compliant workforce
Requirements:- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience operating CNC and manual machine tools
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of CNC programming
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and ability to enforce safety standards
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends as required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across teams
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skill
Compensation:- Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $90,000 to $120,000
