Title of Position: Machine Shop Manager
Position Type: Full time; Exempt
We are looking for a Machine Shop Manager who will be responsible for scheduling, quality, and coordination of all labor and materials in the machine shop department.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience

Machine Shop Manager Job Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the machine shop
Manage machine shop personnel and monitor employee performance. Provide frequent constructive feedback to employees to encourage continued improvement
Facilitate the training process of new machine shop employee with support from the Technical Manager. Ensure they are provided with all the necessary tools and training to do the job safely and effectively.

Assist and provide input with purchasing for items related to manufacturing
Administer company policies as necessary. Maintain open communication with Human Resources regarding application of these policies and any personnel issues within the department.

Machine Shop Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required),associate or bachelor's degree (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in personnel management (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in machine shop/manufacturing environment (required)
