Machine Learning Engineer II

Job Duties: Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest. Partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve ML models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), while gaining knowledge of how ML works in different areas. Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of our data to improve candidates' retrieval. Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches. Keep up with industry trends in recommendation system. Leverage LLMs to enhance content understanding. Full-time telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. Special Skill Requirements: Two years of experience in the following: (1) User Modeling; (2) Personalization; (3) Recommender Systems; (4) Search and Ranking; (5) Natural language processing; (6) Reinforcement Learning; (7) Graph Representation Learning; (8) Hands-on experience with building data processing pipelines; (9) Hadoop and Spark; (10) Retrieval Targeting; (11) Experience working using latest advances in with deep learning and machine learning; and (12) Experience in improving ML models for various product surfaces. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option. Salary: $215,250.00 - $ 285,982.00 per annum Reference #: L25-164300 This position is not available for relocation assistance.
