Your Role in the 7th Avenue Experience
As a Luxury Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our showroom-delivering an elevated, consultative experience that helps customers bring their dream homes to life. With a deep understanding of client service, you'll guide each customer journey from inspiration to purchase, representing both the brand and the luxury lifestyle it embodies.
Job Responsibilities
- Close the sale - Many customers arrive already familiar with the product. Guide them from interest to purchase with a warm, consultative, no-pressure approach - and close at a high rate. Deliver a warm, professional, and solution-oriented experience for all clients - before, during, and after the sale.
- Maximize sales - Identify, nurture, and convert as many potential customers as possible by proactively engaging, following up, and closing your leads. Top performers work on additional outreach to drive more sales when customers aren't present. Warm lead channels are provided and additional outreach will drive sales performance to above average levels.
- Provide excellent customer service - Treat all potential and converted customers with the highest levels of customer service. Treat every customer, whether they buy today or not, to the kind of service that earns trust, referrals, and repeat business - before, during, and after the sale.
- Maximize every opportunity. Our best consultants don't wait for foot traffic. They work the warm-lead channels we provide, follow up relentlessly, and build lasting client relationships that drive sales even when the showroom is quiet.
- Work cohesively with the team - Stay responsive and communicative across every channel, including messaging platforms, and help build a collaborative, supportive, high-performing showroom culture.
What Separates Our Top Performers
Hitting target means closing the customers we send you. Exceeding it - and earning like our best - means owning your pipeline: proactive follow-up, reactivating past inquiries, and turning one-time buyers into long-term clients. The ceiling here is set by your hustle, not your foot traffic.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven success in high-end or luxury sales - You've thrived in retail, high-ticket sales, or concierge-level service roles, and know how to build trust with clients who value both style and substance.
- Sales & outreach mentality - You proactively engage, follow up, and build a pipeline of lasting client relationships.
- Team collaboration - You're a strong communicator who works well with others, responds quickly across platforms, and helps create a supportive and high-performing showroom culture.
- Strong communication and collaboration. You respond quickly, work well across platforms, and lift the people around you.
- Tech-savvy and organized - You're comfortable with digital platforms and tools that help track leads, manage client interactions, and support an efficient sales process.
- Storytelling ability. You turn product features into a compelling, personal reason to buy.
What We Provide You
- Qualified inbound traffic so you spend your time closing, not cold-prospecting.
- A premium brand customers are excited to buy and you'll be proud to represent.
- Weekend and peak-season availability. Weekends are required - they're when customers shop - and our sale periods are the highest-volume, highest-earning windows of the year. This is a role for someone who shows up fully when it matters most.
- Full health coverage - 90% employer-paid for employees and 75% for dependents. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401K
- Free lunch, often. Free lunch with the entire sales team every other week, plus a free lunch any day you cover the showroom solo.
- PTO that grows with you. 14 days to start, 17 days at two years, and 20 days - nearly a full month - at three years. PTO can be applied to weekends when you need time off; it's only paused during our sale periods, which are your biggest earning windows of the year
- A 7th Avenue sofa, on us. Hit your sales milestones and earn a free sofa for your own home - so you live with, and sell from, the product you love.
