What You Will Do: - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and agency policies.
- Monitor and document individuals' physical and behavioral health status.
- Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of withdrawal symptoms and medical concerns.
- Communicate significant changes in condition to medical providers and nursing leadership.
- Assist with medication reconciliation, medication education, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations.
- Collaborate with counselors, recovery coaches, case managers, and medical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic treatment environment.
- Participate in shift reports, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Who You Are: - Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (required)
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment, detoxification, CSS, behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or residential treatment settings
