Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fiber OSP Project Coordinator / Long Haul Permit Specialist to support large-scale Long Haul fiber projects. This role requires a strong background in OSP engineering, permit coordination, utility collaboration, and long haul fiber infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting project execution from design review through permitting, maintenance coordination, and dispute resolution.
This position will work closely with engineering teams, utilities, municipalities, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of fiber network projects while maintaining compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Support and coordinate Long Haul (LH) fiber projects from planning through execution
Manage project activities related to utilities, permitting, engineering coordination, and field support
Utilize AT&T systems supporting Long Haul projects, including GMO and related platforms
Review Long Haul OSP CAD designs and provide feedback for constructability and permitting readiness
Coordinate permit submissions with municipalities, utilities, railroads, and other agencies
Track permit approvals, rejections, revisions, and project timelines
Collaborate with OSP Engineering teams and field personnel to resolve design and construction issues
Support maintenance activities and assist with dispute resolution related to fiber infrastructure projects
Ensure project documentation, records, and reporting are maintained accurately
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting Long Haul Fiber or Telecommunications projects
