Overview

Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

 

Summary:

The Logistics Management Specialist III shall manage and analyze all equipping guidance and interface with all Army Commands (ACOM), Army Service Component Commands (ASCC) and Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) Commands for the purpose of coordinating, synchronizing, and implementing equipping and modernization guidance and concepts at the operational and strategic level.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Shall synchronize and integrate AMC's readiness support to enable, sustain and project a MDO capable and ready force and to provide a robust training and doctrine management program for training policies, procedures, requirements to standardized Army doctrine while ensuring resources are available to sustain and enhance the Command's highly proficient workforce.
  • Shall support the analysis for the Fleet Management Expansion (FMX), complete documentation for the Total Army Readiness Reviews (TARR), participate in the Army Strategic Readiness Assessment and support the Focused Unit Readiness initiatives.
  • Shall develop reports and briefings and present information to senior leaders. The contractor shall operate and manage tools such as GCSS- Army and DST.
  • Shall support initiatives to improve materiel readiness reporting of fielded weapons systems and ensure deficiencies are documented and reported.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledgeable experience required in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables and SharePoint.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience working at the brigade and higher level with five years specifically at the ACOM/ASCC level.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

 

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000.
