Job Description
Design, analyze, and improve operational processes, procedures, and workflows for the company’s North American Logistics and Production Services business. Conduct detailed studies of business and production processes to increase productivity, optimize resource utilization, and enhance workforce efficiency. Implement process improvement initiatives including workflow redesign, procedural updates, and reorganization of job duties. Identify and evaluate new systems, technologies, applications, and equipment to support process improvements, business relocations, new products, and new customer engagements. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational performance. Develop management control systems to support cost analysis, budgeting, and financial planning. Design and maintain facility layouts, material flow patterns, and manufacturing process timing. Perform root cause analysis for process failures and develop corrective action plans. Conduct workstation design and ergonomics assessments to improve safety and productivity. Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines. Perform advanced mathematical and statistical analyses to support engineering decisions. Prepare technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Present engineering findings and recommendations to sales, operations, and cross functional teams at all organizational levels. Interpret complex datasets and manage both abstract and concrete variables. Provide accurate and timely quotations in collaboration with sales teams, ensuring compliance with company policies. Perform other related industrial engineering duties as assigned.
Minimum Reqiurements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as Logistics Engineer position, job offered or related occupation. Also requires the following skills: 1. Lean Six Sigma tools and principles: Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, and Poka-Yoke, including leading and completing major projects; 2. AutoCAD; 3. Project management tools: MS Project, Waterfall Diagram, Critical Path Method (CPM), or PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique); 4. Data analysis tools: Oracle ERP system and ETQ for quality system; 5. Process improvement methodologies: Six Sixma and Kaizen; 6. Server assembly and integration, focused on DELL or HPE; and 7. Project Management: planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
This position will report to 1955 East Sky Harbor Circle No., Phoenix, AZ 85034.
We are offering a salary of $121,826 to $134,008 per year.
