Full Job Description
Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager with approximately 7-12 years of litigation support, forensic accounting, economic damages, and/or insurance claims experience to join our growing practice. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing complex assignments, overseeing Managers and Staff, maintaining active client relationships, and communicating regularly with Partners on engagement progress, staff development, and business development opportunities.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with Partners, testifying experts, attorneys, insurance carriers, and corporate clients on high-profile disputes involving financial damages, lost profits, business interruption, forensic investigations, and complex loss measurements.

The Senior Manager will be expected to maintain very active client engagement through email, Teams, in-person meetings, industry conferences, dinners, lunches, and other business development activities, while proactively building relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

Litigation Support & Damages Analysis

  • Oversee Managers and Staff across a high volume of active litigation support, forensic accounting, insurance claims, and economic damages assignments.
  • Work side-by-side with Managers to support engagement management, client relationships, staff development, and communication with Partners.
  • Review and analyze financial records, tax returns, payroll data, accounting records, bank statements, and business documents.
  • Lead the quantification of lost profits, business interruption losses, lost wages and earning capacity, partnership and shareholder disputes, contract disputes, fraud matters, and other forensic accounting analyses.
  • Complete and review loss measurements, damages analyses, written reports, workpapers, rebuttal analyses, and demonstrative exhibits.
  • Review pleadings, discovery responses, deposition testimony, expert reports, and other case documents to identify key financial and operational issues.
  • Support economic and financial analyses used in mediation, arbitration, and trial.


Engagement Management & Case Support

  • Manage a large portfolio of active assignments, often involving 50+ matters at one time.
  • Organize, summarize, and analyze large document productions while ensuring quality, accuracy, and defensibility of work product.
  • Identify key financial and operational facts relevant to damages claims and litigation strategy.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, Managers, and Partners on case strategy, deliverables, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Prepare chronologies, damages summaries, case dashboards, and other engagement management tools.


Financial Analysis

  • Oversee the development and review of complex financial models using Excel and other tools.
  • Perform and supervise trend analyses, lost profits calculations, wage-loss analyses, business interruption analyses, and other damages-related procedures.
  • Research and interpret industry, labor market, compensation, and economic data relevant to client matters.
  • Evaluate opposing expert analyses, identify methodological weaknesses, and support the preparation of clear, well-supported conclusions.


Client & Expert Support

  • Maintain active and proactive communication with attorneys, clients, experts, insurance carriers, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Participate in and lead client meetings, expert discussions, deposition preparation, and trial support activities.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, responsiveness, industry involvement, and business development efforts.
  • Communicate complex financial findings clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.


Qualifications:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
    • Litigation support
    • Forensic accounting
    • Economic damages
    • Insurance claims
    • Business valuation
    • Public accounting with dispute-related experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex assignments, competing deadlines, and high-volume case work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience overseeing Managers and Staff, including reviewing work product, supporting development, and coordinating engagement execution.
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to build relationships and communicate proactively with clients, attorneys, experts, and internal leadership.
  • Interest and ability to contribute meaningfully to business development activities.


Preferred

  • CPA preferred but not required; CFE, CVA, ABV, or other relevant professional certifications are also valued.
  • Experience supporting testifying experts and/or providing expert testimony.
  • Experience with commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, or lost wages claims.
  • Insurance industry experience, particularly:
    • Business interruption
    • Property losses
    • Commercial claims
    • Subrogation
    • Coverage disputes
    • Catastrophe or loss consulting
  • Familiarity with financial statement analysis, tax returns, and damages methodologies.


What Success Looks Like:

The ideal candidate is an experienced forensic accounting or litigation support professional who enjoys leading complex engagements, developing teams, and building trusted client relationships. They are comfortable managing a high volume of assignments, reviewing and completing loss measurements and written reports, communicating regularly with Partners, and playing an active role in business development. This individual may continue to grow at the Senior Manager level or pursue future advancement to VP.

Benefits/Compensation:

Determining actual compensation relies on many factors including individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks. Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $140,000 and $220,000. Additionally, we offer discretionary year-end bonuses to supplement your compensation package.
