Position Overview: This role offers immediate file carriage with support from senior Lawyers. The successful candidate will manage a varied litigation practice, with regular exposure to chambers applications, questionings, and court appearances.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare for and participate in mediations and pre-trial conferences
- Represent clients in chambers applications and court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
- 2+ years with strong litigation exposure.
- Strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
