Set of X is hiring for a Linux System Administrator to support our prime contract.
Responsibilities:
Work with current owners and administrators to understand existing systems, requirements, and problem areas.
Provide direct input for organization long-term efforts and visions for future architecture and design.
Provide system administration functions to fix critical problems or implement stop-gap solutions as part of the transition to the new consolidated architecture.
Translate existing requirements and use-cases of current systems into scalable and supportable long-term solutions.
Implement and support final solution(s).
Participate in frequent internal engineering and strategy team meetings.
Build direct customer relationships to improve organizational feedback loop.
Experience with VMWare or associate technologies (ESX, NSX, VSAN, KVM, Nutanix or other).
Experience with containerization
Desired Skills:
RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) and/or RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification.
Experience/Education: 10+ experience in System Administration Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
