POSITION: Licensed Practical Nurse
SCHEDULE: Opportunities available for day shifts
FACILITY: Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility
LOCATION: Las Cruces, NM
PAY RATE: $45.00 + eligible shift differentials

Position Summary
As an LPN at our facility, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Some responsibilities include:
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered
  • Assisting with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions
  • Taking vital signs and monitoring patient conditions
  • Providing wound care and changing dressings
  • Supporting documentation and care planning
  • Promoting hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients
  • Serving as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

What You'll Need
  • Active unrestricted LPN license in state of practice.
  • 1-2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills; adaptability in high-pressure settings.
  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
