Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Webster- Full-time and part-time openings on 7a-3p and 3p-11p, including every other weekend
- 40 hours on 11p-7a, including every other weekend
Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $42 depending on the shift. Evenings and weekends have shift differentials.
Job Summary:As an LPN at Lanessa Extended Care, you will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant. You will meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident, maintain current resident care plans, and follow physician's orders.
Responsibilities:- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
- Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
- Follow physician's orders
- Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately
- Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
- Administer medication according to procedure
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list
- Document and report any unusual or significant findings
- Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary
- Demonstrate correct safety techniques
- Respect and take care of facility equipment and supplies
- Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions
- Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents' individual health information
Requirements:- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- Must be CPR certified
- Must possess an active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one
