Full Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-time opportunity at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill!

As an LPN with our center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and ensuring their overall well-being.

Openings on 7a-3p and 11p-7a, and includes an every other weekend rotation. Hourly rate ranges between $38 and $43, depending on the shift. Overnights and weekends come with shift differentials.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN
  • Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure high-quality care
  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident, maintain accurate resident care plans, and follow physician's orders
  • Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes, review patient records daily, and visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
  • Administer medication according to procedure, maintain accurate and safe control of all drugs, and initiate emergency procedures as necessary

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
  • CPR certified
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in Massachusetts
  • New graduates welcome!

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
  • Leadership and supervisory ability
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
