Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $39.35 - $39.93. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

LPN - Stamford - FT

Hospital for Special Surgery, #1 in Orthopedics for the last 14 years, is currently looking for an experienced and energetic Per Diem LPN for our Midtown OPC Private Practice located in New York, NY.

Working under the supervision of one our prominent MD's, you will provide the upmost deliverance of patient care in the physician's office setting.

Scope of duties will include:
  • Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures
  • Proficiency in obtaining vital signs, height and weight, venipuncture, cast removal, suture and staple removal and application of off-the-shelf braces
  • Rooming patients
  • Overseeing patient flow
  • Stocking exam rooms


Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
  • Current NY State LPN License and Registration
  • BLS Certification


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of Ambulatory Clinic, Physician's Office or Hospital setting
  • Experience with EMR preferably EPIC
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to all customers including patients, physicians, fellow co-workers, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining an organized professional environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced setting
