DescriptionJob Summary: Alliance Group is seeking a Licensed Plumber based in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing Install team.
This is a field-based position responsible for installations, routine maintenance, and inspections associated with commercial plumbing systems, as well as assisting with regular service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems. This includes boilers, chillers, hydronic piping, propane systems a plus but not required, and more. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and high-level customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesRole-Specific Essential Duties:- Utilize core plumbing skills such as using hand tools, plumbing tools, and power tools to perform plumbing installations and repairs (pro-press, threading, soldering, etc.)
- Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure they are up to code, meet all building and safety standards, and job specifications are met
- Lead a crew of manageable size and ensure daily reports, communication, ordering of materials and productivity is maintained to ensure project schedules are upkept
- Assist with service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems.
Organization-Specific Essential Duties:- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating and fully explaining current issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers when appropriate.
- Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
- Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company work vehicle.
Essential Qualifications and CompetenciesRole-Specific:- Active plumbing license (journeyman or masters) required.
- OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and document asbuilts required
- Ability to read specifications and identify RFI's required
- 2+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
- NH and/or VT Gas license preferred
- Rigging certification preferred

- U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
- Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
- A post-offer pre-employment screen (POPES) is required for this position.
