Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility in Pontiac, Illinois. The LNHA will be responsible for providing strong operational leadership while ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and direction for the skilled nursing facility and its interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure the facility consistently provides safe, high-quality, person-centered care to residents.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regulations, licensing requirements, and long-term care standards.
- Lead and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Monitor clinical, operational, staffing, and quality metrics and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain qualified employees while promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Partner closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership to support quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
- Oversee facility budgets, census development, expense management, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, vendors, and community partners.
- Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and preferences are consistently respected.
- Oversee preparation for surveys, audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Respond appropriately to resident and family concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate scheduling and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish goals, improve processes, and maintain operational excellence.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, policies, procedures, and compliance programs are maintained.
- Participate in community outreach and census development initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement, professional development, and retention.
- Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming, and well-operated environment for residents and staff.
- Serve as the facility's primary operational leader and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications- Current Illinois Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Prior leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Illinois long-term care regulations and survey processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of SNF operations, staffing, quality metrics, and financial management.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and community stakeholders.
- Experience with census development, budgeting, staffing, and quality improvement preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to operational needs.
