Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and overall operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with strong business acumen, a commitment to resident-centered care, and a proven track record of successful healthcare facility management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee all facility operations, including clinical, financial, admissions, maintenance, and dietary services.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities.
  • Maintain readiness for surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve quality outcomes, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and census growth initiatives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff members.
  • Foster a positive culture focused on resident dignity, quality care, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, department heads, residents, families, and community partners.
  • Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
  • Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Promote a safe and compliant environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Serve as Corporate Compliance Officer. Responsible for the oversight, and continuous improvement of the Gurwin Healthcare System's comprehensive compliance and ethics program.

Qualifications Required:
  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of New York.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and long-term care reimbursement systems.
  • Demonstrated success in operational management, budgeting, and team leadership.
