Embark is seeking a fully licensed
LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC to provide individual, family, and group therapy within our adolescent short-term residential treatment program in San Martin, just south of San Jose. This role offers a focused caseload of approximately six clients, allowing therapists to build meaningful relationships with teens ages 12-17 and their families while delivering high-quality clinical care. Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents ages 12-17 in a residential treatment setting.
- Maintain a focused caseload of approximately six to eight clients, allowing for individualized treatment and family engagement.
- Develop, update, and collaborate on treatment plans with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and therapeutic support during periods of emotional distress.
- Conduct parent coaching and family sessions that support treatment progress and successful transitions home.
- Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare recommendations with families and referral partners.
- Complete clinical documentation, treatment notes, and assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with program requirements.
Qualifications
- Active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselorrequired.
- Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain an NPI and CAQH profile as part of onboarding.
- Preferred: 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Preferred: Experience in residential treatment, PHP, IOP, psychiatric, crisis, substance use, or other high-acuity behavioral health settings.
- Strong clinical skills working with adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
