OverviewLicensed Electrician / Electrical License Holder – Capital Region
Reimer Home Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrician / Electrical License Holder to join our growing team and support our electrical operations throughout Troy, Schenectady, and the Capital Region.
We are specifically looking for a candidate who currently holds an electrical license in at least one of these areas, with licensing in multiple areas strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an electrical license holder for Reimer Home Services in applicable licensed jurisdiction(s)
- Support electrical permitting, inspections, and local licensing requirements
- Ensure electrical work is performed in compliance with applicable local and national electrical codes
- Provide technical knowledge and guidance to support safe, high-quality residential electrical work
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential homes
- Install, maintain, and service residential electrical systems and components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide clear solutions
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Help support the continued growth of Reimer's electrical operations throughout the Capital Region
Qualifications:
- Must currently hold a valid electrical license in at least one of the following areas: Troy, Schenectady, or another applicable Capital Region jurisdiction
- Electrical licenses covering multiple Capital Region jurisdictions are strongly preferred
- Experience with local permitting, inspection, and electrical code requirements
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and electrical codes
- Residential electrical experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license (must be at least 21 years old per company policy)

Compensation:
80,000-120,000 plus 15,000 license bonus
Compensation based on experience, licensing, and role responsibilities
Service Area:
Troy, Schenectady, Albany, and surrounding communities throughout the Capital Region
