  • Location: Anacortes, WA, Onsite
  • Schedule: Full Time / 40 hours per week
  • Salary Range: $82,305.60 - $123,448.00 annually

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides comprehensive behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination services to patients across the continuum of care. The LCSW delivers evidence-based psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions while collaborating with medical providers, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to support whole-person care.

This position practices within the scope of licensure and in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

What you will be doing:
Clinical Assessment & Treatment
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, establish DSM-5 diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
  • Assess and manage patient risk, including crisis intervention and stabilization as needed.
Care Coordination & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated patient care.
  • Coordinate referrals and connect patients with internal and community behavioral health resources.
  • Participate in case conferences and advocate for patient access to appropriate services.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR in compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Professional Practice
  • Maintain current licensure and knowledge of best practices in behavioral health.
  • Engage in peer consultation, continuing education, and departmental performance initiatives.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
  • Crisis assessment and intervention expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Your Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted mental health therapist (LCSW, LICSW. LMHC, LMFT, MSW) license in the State of Washington.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to maintain licensure and required continuing education.
