Full Job Description
SMS Equipment is seeking a knowledgeable and business-focused Legal Counsel to support a broad range of legal matters across the organization. In this role, you will provide practical, risk-based legal advice that enables business objectives while protecting the company's interests. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, HR, and leadership to support contracts, governance, and regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative legal professional who thrives in a dynamic, operational environment.

Work Location:Acheson, AB
Annual Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Work Arrangement:On-site
Schedule:Monday to Friday

What You'll Do

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and operational matters

You bring sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across the organization. Other requirements include:
